Bulk storage systems are widely used in various industry branches:

– food industry,

– pharmaceutical industry,

– construction industry.

Bulk storage systems used in the food industry make it possible to automate the production process, to minimize raw material losses during loading and unloading operations and their transportation on the territory of a production facility, to guarantee quality and compliance with the required storage conditions, and to provide more room for production and to rationally use free production spaces.

A silo for storing sugar and its further transportation to the production shop was manufactured and mounted at the production site of our partners in the Kiev region.

The silo is made of AISI 304 stainless steel and consists of the following components: a vertical vessel 2500 mm in diameter, with a height of 9000 mm and a volume of 50 m³. The silo is equipped with a platform and ladder for maintenance operations. The silo body is insulated with basalt which allows avoiding condensate formation and product deterioration, and assuring good storageability of the product. The silo is installed on a steel frame structure and is equipped with a vibrating bottom, filters, and a sluice feeder. It is designed for further transportation of sugar to the production shop by a pneumatic conveying system.

The equipment is certified and approved for use in the food production, has a hygiene certificate, and certificates of conformity.
